I’m sure you have seen ads with the “we’ll beat anyone’s price” and so on.
Some companies are legitimate and honest who will honor this statement, though many are not.
I have to tell you that price does not, and I mean does not, constitute honesty, integrity and quality workmanship. I have paid outrageous amounts of money to have, who I thought could produce a product for me beyond my expectations. WRONG!
In the Locksmithing business we have very unscrupulous individuals who do the old “bait and switch”. The usual line when you call is “the tech will tell you when he gets there”. ” We charge $15.00 (some $29.00) to come out”. POPPYCOCK! Don’t fall for that!
Every one of those companies use “sub contract” labor should be called “sub par” labor. Most of the people who show up come in an unmarked vehicle, barely and tools and or knowledge. They prey on ignorance and intimidation with lies.
Next time you read or hear “we beat………..” blah blah blah blah. Think about it and ask many questions. If you get the tech will tell you story….hang up!
