EXTRA EXTRA GET THEM WHILE THERE HOT! KEYS TO THE CITY AVAILABLE ON EBAY!
As a Locksmith of 27 years I’m surprised that Mr. Daniel Ferraris also a Locksmith (ret) would sell keys on Ebay that could potentially be used illicitly.
Mr. Ferraris, according to the New York Post sold the keys to an undercover reporter who broke the story.
This is not just about carelessly selling keys on Ebay it is an every day need for our vigilance to protect ourselves, families, business etc… I have cameras on my home; I’m the paranoid guy down the block who is spying on all of us. No, I’m vigilant and don’t want to become headlines as a victim.
We have gun laws that protect the criminals and take away rights from the good Americans we are.
The next time you see suspicious activity on a web site or a park, etc don’t look the other way, do something about it.
What I understood about the key sales is that most (including the web site)Feel indifferent about it this is what was quoted in the Post. “So what if only a few hundred (or few thousand?0 of these keys exist and that only ‘most’ of the ones purchased by the Post actually worked (the report doesn’t say which ones), let’s breath erratically into a paper bag while a ‘formerly employee’ tells us all the horrible things these keys could unleash,” the website wrote, noting that Ferraris indicated he isn’t the only one trafficking in such keys”.
My point is that it is up to us to police ourselves and be a part of our own protection. Stop the political correctness or the worry that you may offend someone it could save lives even your own.
